A sporadic letter of listening, reading, and watching suggestions.

So be sure when you step, step with care and great tact. And remember that life’s A Great Balancing Act. And will you succeed?
Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and ¾ percent guaranteed)
Dr. Seuss, Oh The Places You’ll Go! I’ve read this book many times. Today it feels more relevant than ever. 👆
Mark Zuckerberg in your living room? Jesus! Really? But as Roger McNamee points out here, this is a PR stunt. The real concern lies with with Google, Microsoft and the Pecker exposer.
Something I wrote for The Creative Independent is this piece on the empathy economy. A place in the not-so-distant future where women will have all the power.
Leaving Neverland. A hard documentary to watch for any Wacko Jacko fan, but an important one none the less. This is the story of a postpubescent child in the body of a man. Tragic for all involved.
Don’t worry he wont get far on foot is a beautifully poetic example of the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. Joaquin Phoenix plays the quadriplegic John Callahan so well and the film is beautifully interspersed with his iconic sardonic cartoons.
Watch: Amazon Prime 113 mins (+)
As ever there are so many podcasts to listen to, I’ve been offline for a while so here are a few goodies:
Without Fail - Alex Blumberg goes back to those tough, warts and all conversations about business and that topic of failure.
The Allusionist. From tech jargon to emoji to the story of the once-common English street name, Gropecunt Lane.
This one comes straight from WePresent editor Rob Alderson. The Dropout. I missed this Bernie-Madeoff-Scale scam completely. Its nuts.
